Your hosts are Fred & Erika Scott.... along with Ethan and Isabelle too!!.  

Home for Erika has always been the west coast.  Her family is one of the original families of Tofino.... dating back to 1905.  She takes great pride in her heritage and roots in Tofino and is willing to share many stories to those who have the time to listen.  Both Erika & Fred enjoy photographing the beauty that Tofino has to offer.  Growing up with such beauty all around has allowed Erika to see beauty in the small things that Tofino offer..... such as rocks and logs... don't overlook those!!  She is now pursuing photography full time in between raising the children and running the household.

Fred, having grown up in Calgary, AB, enjoys calling the west coast home now.  His 'job' takes him to far and away places, though his heart remains in Tofino.  He once flew over Tofino and in an instant fell in love with the area.  He has since built 6 houses in the Chesterman Beach area.... including the one you may soon stay in (if you have not already!)  Pacifica is his pride and joy.  He loves this house and loves being able to share it with so many wonderful people!!!

Ethan and Isabelle too love this house, and enjoy being able to share it with so many wonderful people.  They hope that you enjoy the stars that were placed on the ceiling of the room upstairs.  Their dad put them there for them!!  And since the age of four Ethan has been challenging just about anyone to a game of pool.... you'd better practice just in case he drops in one day during your visit!

Pacifica has given us great pleasure in opening doors for others to enjoy the paradise that we so love.  We continually enjoy the many stories that our guests experience and seeing the joy in the young (and not too young) as they learn new skills that are offered in the area..... such as surfing and kayaking!!  We hope to accommodate your family and friends, and have them experience the many wonders of the west coast...... you never know what is under that rock yet to be overturned!!
